Every Fall the USTA Texas provides an art contest for kids who participate in their local National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) network to demonstrate their passion for tennis through the manner of art. And this year was no exception. The prompt the kids were asked to display was “create a work of art depicting a time when you made a friend on court.” We are so proud to announce and would like to congratulate two of our very own, Giselle Murillo and Valeria Quezada. Giselle won in the Middle School Girls division and Valeria won in the High School Girls division. Valeria was also selected as the Grand Prize Winner for this year’s Art Contest. Both girls will receive a plaque from the USTA Texas Section.
